Let's see:
- First full time semester at MCC is almost done (just have Public Speaking class on Friday and I'm done!)
- Tuition for Fall 08 and Spring 09 semester is paid off in full :]
- Got over $100 for selling unwanted college books. (cha-ching!)
- Gonna have an art class spring semester
- Hopefully with grant money left over I can FINALLY BUY A FRIGGIN LAPTOP AND TABLET :O~
- Final grade in Psychology class is B - B+

Hi everyone~! I think it's time for an update!

So I'm finally in full-time college (started about 3 weeks ago). I attend Middlesex Community College and I am majoring in Fine Arts: Art Option. My classes are great so far. :D
I take English Composition, Algebra I(remedial class), Intro to Psychology, and Fundementals of Public Speaking. Actually just got back from Algebra (I had a test, and I think I did well.... I think). Psychology is interesting because it's a hybrid class (half of it is done on-center, half is done online).
I'm part of MCC's "Anime Game Tech" club, where I made some new friends. I even got the number of this cute guy named Derek (who also happens to be in my Psy. class XD). I even learned how to play Yu-Gi-Oh (^^; ) and actually beat the guy that taught me (his name is Rob, but everyone calls him Jesus, to which he shouts "I'M NOT JESUS!" XD)

About two weeks ago, I turned 20. OMG I'M SO OLD. ; 3 ;
I didn't do much on my birthday weekend, though my aunt threw me a surprise birthday party/picnic at her house. It was nice. She got me this cute shirt that has the little kitten from Looney Times on it and it says "Good Kitty Gone Bad" (I'll take a pic someday). Also got a card from her and Jess and Jason with 10 bucks. XD. My great aunt and great uncle also sent me a card with a check for $50. SWEET
... then on the night of my birthday, I get a call from my sis Jenn (whom I haven't talked to in bout a year). Yes, I was shocked. I was more shocked to hear that she and Frankie got divorced, but at least she has custody of her daughter, Natalie (who looks like her mom OMG XD). So yeah, maybe THIS TIME I will keep in contact with Jenn more often. ^^;
Then last week, I found out that Jess has a surprise gift for me, and she wouldn't tell me at first, but she finally spilled it:
Sometime this weekend, she's taking me to an adult store and is gonna let me buy a "toy" (YES I AM SO SERIOUS. Reason for this I will explain in another post XD hahahahaha)

I'm not sure how many of you exactly live in the Tri-State Area, but this last weekend in Seacaucus, NJ was AnimeNEXT 2008. I was planning on going there, but something had came up that I wouldn't be able to go. BUT! One of my friends works security there, and was gonna do security there this year, so I asked him if he could do one little favor for me.
That favor you ask?: Give a fanart to the one and only Greg Ayres.
He said yes, and now it was my turn to make the fanart.
To be honest, the only role I ever really heard of his was Son Goku from Saiyuki. But I also remember that it was one of his favorite roles, so I decided to draw him the best Son Goku I could whip up.
This is the black lineart (before coloring, and please forgive the quality of my cell phone camera) :
And this is the colored version (or at least some of it, you have to forgive my cell phone camera, it blows XD) :
I started, outlined, and completed this picture on June 16th, 2008 and gave it to my friend on June 19th, 2008 (the day he was to leave to help with the con)
And so... he left... and I waited...
Today, he came back with some exciting news.
He had given the picture to Greg Ayres, and according to my friend, Greg Ayres said that it was one of the best fanarts he had recieved in a very long time, and that he was going to frame it. Let's just say that I was (and still am!) very estatic. 8DDDDDDD
This really, really has made me very happy. I would've been more happier if I could've given it to him myself personally, but I really do feel honored that all my years of drawing and doodling and sketching had not been in vain. 8DDDDDD |

This Turkey Day, I actually wasn't on the GODFORSAKEN CAMPUS. D8 I went to Christine's house for the break and it was enjoyable. We went to a sushi bar and ate sushi instead of turkey. The eel sushi was actually good. ;3
Then we went for Mongolian BBQ on Saturday, and I learned how to eat with CHOPSTICKS. RAWR FEAR ME FOR I KNOW HOW TO USE CHOPPIE STICKS OF DOOM. >]
We also played some P3. She showed me the scene of Akihiko in a bathrobe and I was like.... errr dead for a good five minutes. LOL
Hopefully, I'll be seeing her around the Xmas break as well. But I might be going to Maryland with Jess to go see my great great aunt and great great uncle. :3

This next weekend, I'll be staying over Kyle's house so I can attend my first ever anime con, New York Anime Festival ( http://www.newyorkanimefestival.com/ ) NOTE: Kyle only likes me as a friend how. YAYAYAYAY So yeah. I plan on having fun.

I went as a Zombie Girl. We had a Halloween party in the Gym last Tuesday. I only went to enter the Costume Contest that they had, and even though I didn't win, I SURE HAD A HELLA LOT OF FUN SCARING THE SHIT OUTTA EVERYONE WITH MY MAKEUPS OF DOOM! .... seriously... I had that fake blood stuff right and had it dripping from my mouth and forehead. Plus it was dark in the Gym, so I crept behind people and freaked them out. Anthony took a few pics, but he has yet to send them to me... ._______.;

This week is HOMECOMING WEEK here at Job Corps. (I thought this sorta crap only went on in High school...) but anyway. There was a poster contest. The topic was "My Top FIve Goals In Life". Of course I entered~! I would be an idiot to not display my art skills of uberness (coughLOLROFLcough)
My Top Five Goals:
1) Complete Job Corps
2) Attend college and GRADUATE~!
3) Become a successful artist
4) If Goal #3 doesn't work out, I would become a lawyer (DAMN YOU PHOENIX WRIGHT~!)
5) To Greet The World With A Smile. =D
... I was also the only one that entered the contest, so I think that I win my default... *shrug*

I now no longer own a DS... my best friend said he would give me his PSP for my DS... so I made the trade (mind you this was about almost a month ago.) Do not fret! I will get a DS again.... someday. The only reason I really wanted a PSP is so that I could download some music and listen to it, instead of listening to the god damned radio. LOL

This morning at the cafeteria, my friend Jennifer and I were talking about all the diiferent hairdos that everyone has, and about how bad they are. I mentioned this one guy named Allen. He's in the advanced computer classes and no lie:
HE HAS A SHITLOAD OF DANDRUFF ON HIS HEAD. So then I said that his name should be Snowflake Head, and lo and behold, to my right... There was Allen, who just got his breakfast. HOLY JEEBUS I DID NOT KNOW HE WAS RIGHT THERE. IF I KNEW I NEVER WOULD'VE SAID ANYTHING. XD;;;;;;; So yeah, I had a good laugh. He told me he didn't even hear what I said (which I think is a upright lie, but whatev).

A few posts back, I told ya about a guy named Kyle. Kyle is VERY, VERY VERY much in love with me, but yet I do not have the same feelings for him. He is a very sweet, nurturing guy, but I am not ready for a relationship yet.
I tell him numerous times that I only see him as a friend, and he says that he understands, but everytime he wants to talk to me privately, he says that he still has feelings for me. It also doesn't help that we're both in security.. and about half the class thinks we go out... oi...
But anyway... yesterday, my good friend Jessica and I were talking about marriage (she herself is engaged and has been for about... 2 years?) And I said to her that I can't wait to find the guy that I want to spend the rest of my life with. (I mean I can wait... but yeah.. I at least wanna marry before I die.. LOL). But... Kyle had overheard me.
So about an half hour ago, he once again asked me if he can talk to me in private. I don't why I said yes, since I already what he's gonna say.
He told me he overheard my convo with Jess. And he said like, "I really want to ask you something, but since you don't want to have a relationship with me, it doesn't matter anyway."
WHY THE HELL IS THIS GUY OBSESSED WITH ME?!!! O_____O It's creepin me out.
Why oh why would he want to marry me?! I AM NOT READY. >___>;; I just turned 19 over a month ago and I am still a virgin. Do I have to wear a shirt that says "I AM NOT INTERESTED IN KYLE"?!
I sometimes wish that my mom was still alive. She could at least tell me some SORT of advice. I want to talk to my cousin, Jessica about it, but I wouldn't know what to say. I want to tell my sister, Jennifer about all this, but I haven't talked to her in almost 10 months. I can't tell my friend, Christine. She is burdened with life and college.
The only person I tell these things to is my buddy, Anthony (whom I also mentioned a few posts ago). Even HE doesn't understand why Kyle likes me so.. We both tell him that I am not into him like that.
Kyle told me once that I am the only girl that he is interested him. I told him that I am not interested in him.
He needs help.... I need help.... How do I get this guy off my back? |
